Masking Technician

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30?AM-3:30?PM

Location: San Diego, CA 92126

Mainly we are looking for hard-working people who can follow instructions and show up consistently and on-time. Someone who has done assembly, circuit board work, or even a manicurist would be a good fit. We can train someone who doesn't have any experience.

Responsibilities:

Part Preparation and Masking (70%)

* Apply masking materials such as tapes, plugs, caps, lacquers, and other protective coverings to parts according to work instructions and customer specifications.

* Remove masking materials after processing without damaging finished components.

* Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

* Identify defects, inconsistencies, or damage and report concerns to supervisors.

* Handle parts carefully to prevent contamination or damage.

Production Support (20%)

* Read and follow work orders, travelers, and basic technical drawings.

* Assist with racking, packaging, and material handling as needed.

* Maintain production schedules and support departmental workflow.

* Work closely with production, plating, and quality personnel to meet customer deadlines.

Safety and Housekeeping (10%)

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

* Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

* Properly handle materials, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with established procedures.

* Participate in safety and quality training programs.

Requirements:

* Experience with masking, assembly, inspection, or other detail-oriented production work preferred.
